This is your invitation to participate in Baton Rouge’s 54th Annual Independence Day Parade, sponsored by the Kenilworth Civic Association!
We would be honored to have your organization participate in the parade, one of the largest events in Louisiana celebrating our nation's freedom. This is a special year, as we will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Naturally, our parade theme is "Celebrating America's 250th". Come join our many participants and thousands of spectators for this patriotic event. The parade is a Baton Rouge tradition celebrating our great nation. The parade is a great event to showcase your organization and reach thousands of Baton Rouge citizens in a fun, family friendly atmosphere, or just participate and have fun! Join us and celebrate, be it tossing beads, waving flags, or playing patriotic music and celebrating our great nation in your unique style and with Louisiana flair. All organizations are welcome to join in this patriotic event: Patriotic organizations, Veteran's groups, Schools, Civic and Community groups, Churches and Religious organizations, Family groups, Car Clubs, etc. This can be a great team-building activity for local businesses. The 2026 parade will roll at 6:30pm on Friday, July 3rd. It lasts about an hour and rolls weather permitting. The route begins and ends at the school on Boone drive and runs almost two miles through the Kenilworth neighborhood. Participating groups should arrive at the school at 5:45pm or earlier for set-up and staging. Don't miss the fun! |
